Edwards Lorikeet

A nice image of the female edwards. She has excellent colour with striking yellow in her chest and collar. The head plumage changes colour from front to back with blue and blue streaks to a rich green with green streaks. Note how the green/yellow streaks are quite prominent over her eye.
She has a nice deep red beak, alert eyes and has her wings slightly raised as she suspiciously watches the camera. A hint of red underwing plumage is visible although the yellow/green plumage of her body is more evident and further down her body just before her tail there is a hint of blue plumage.
