Yellow-bibbed Lory

Now a few days later and they have settled in quite nicely.
Here the male has become quite friendly and enjoys displaying while perched on Heather's head. He also grooms her hair looking for bugs and anything edible.
The female is rarely seen as she spends most of the day in the nestbox, only venturing out when she hears food arriving.
The male will often feed her through the nestbox entrance although she sometimes gets her head just outside the nestbox to have a look around for a few minutes.
Tje plumage around his neck gets quite untidy caused by feeding the female when he puts his head into the nestbox
