Notes on MRTG throughput graphs

21 August 2000
For those enquiring about MRTG graphs by IP subnet range or Class C network I am now looking at this. It does not appear a trivial task as MRTG reads throughput data from Cisco router ports, to get graph data of IP number throughput will need data to be generated by an external program.
A similar problem exists in getting ISDN graph data but in this case it is ensuring which port has which ISDN user connected at data gathering time.

MRTG graphs of some of KC's internet connections are provided in this menu.
No customer data link stats are available for public display but these are available to those with data connections.
(Contact David Dix if you need to access a customer link graph)
One link display is missing due to a port addressing error that MRTG does not want to process (see the link as down when in fact it is up)

28 January 2001
The mrtg graphs are now taking data from the Telecom ATM link to KC which has sub-interfaces for international traffic from Netgate and Aaria and domestic traffic from Netgate.
IPnet traffic is also shown for connection to the KC network via IPnet dial up connections.
